APEX Mission Statement:
The Arizona Power Exchange (APEX) is a not-for-profit corporation
that provides education, social opportunities, and support for adults who are
interested in Bondage and Discipline; Dominance and Submission;
and Sadomasochism (BDSM) who value individual responsibility,
integrity, confidentiality, and respect for self and others.
APEX provides on-going forums for education and practice of BDSM
and opportunities for like-minded individuals to socialize, explore
and learn in a respectful and dignified environment. APEX welcomes
all sexual orientations, consensual relationships, and risk-aware BDSM
and sexual practices.
APEX is NOT a sex club, and APEX does NOT provide partners for people.
Fees collected are for the purpose of supporting the organization’s expenses,
and do not entitle payer to anything other than admission to the event.
Anyone found engaging in or soliciting an act of prostitution will be permanently
expelled. |

The Arizona Power Exchange Corporation's
Five-Year Vision Statement:
By 2007, APEX will:
Be fiscally sound by having one year's worth
of operating cash in investments.
Be legally sound in compliance with all Federal,
State and local laws and rules.
Be a nationally known BDSM organization providing
excellence in education, social, and support opportunities for its members.
Have expanded the sexual and cultural diversity of
its membership by enrolling members of diverse ethnicities,
nationalities and sexual orientations.
Have increased its paid core membership to a total of
900 members (an increase of 100 persons per year).
Have purchased its own indoor/outdoor meeting space ,
which shall serve as a community center for other regional and national
groups that view BDSM as an acceptable sexual expression.
Have an established culture of volunteerism
amongst its members by having an active volunteer roster of at least ten
percent of the membership.
Have a paid executive director to handle the
day-to-day operations of the Corporation.
Have sponsored at least one successful national BDSM
event with a paid attendance of greater than 100 individuals.
Operate a 501© 3 Corporation performing
research, education and community support of BDSM activities, serving
as a BDSM resource and referral center for law enforcement agencies,
schools, mental health professionals, parents and other sex education
organizations in the State of Arizona.
